1. So… what is Vine Cult, really?

We're a small-batch Bloody Mary mix company operating under the guise of a secret society devoted to hunting cryptids, harvesting their "essence," and bottling it for your enjoyment. In other words… we make really, really good Bloody Mary mix in Yorkville, IL.

2. Do you actually hunt cryptids?

Of course. But we can't legally confirm or deny which ones...

3. What flavors do you have?

Each flavor is inspired by a different part of our beautiful world and named after a legendary cryptid from that region. Right now, we're serving Blood of the Chupacabra (Puerto Rican inspired with pineapple + sofrito) and Blood of the Con Rit (Vietnamese inspired with red thai chilis + lime). More creatures will bleed soon.

4. Is your mix alcoholic?

Nope! We bottle the base mix, and you choose your own spirit (or none at all - virgin cryptid blood is still delicious).

Some Cult members have even enjoyed it as a tomato soup with grilled cheese or used it in their pasta. What will you use it for?

5. Is this safe for humans?

Yes. Our mixes are made with real, safe ingredients that are approved under Illinois Cottage Food Law. No cryptid DNA, yet.

6. How do I store it?

Keep it refrigerated after opening. Unopened jars can be stored in a cool, dark place - like a pantry, cellar, or under the altar.

Shelf life: 6 months unopened, 5 days after opening.

7. How spicy is it?

Blood of the Chupacabra only has the gentle kick of black pepper and garlic. It's mild enough that even the bravest cryptid skeptics can sip without fear.

Blood of the Con Rit has spice derived from bird's eye chili. If you enjoy chili paste, you can likely handle the heat.

8. How do you ship?

Orders are fulfilled and shipped every Tuesday and Friday. Flat rate shipping is $8. We currently ship only within Illinois (because Cottage Food Law says so). We pack our jars safely to survive even the most treacherous Big Foot attacks en route.

9. Can I find you at events or markets?

Absolutely! We pop up at festivals, farmers markets, and spooky vendor fairs. We post all events on our social media pages - so follow along if you want to track our movements.

10. Can I join the Vine Cult?

If you're reading this - you're already initiated.

11. Do you take custom orders?

No, not at this time. We are working on limited edition flavors made from the souls of your favorite monsters.

12. Do you accept sacrifices as payment?

We prefer cash, card, or digital payment… but we'll consider a goat if it comes with a sales tax receipt.

13. How many cocktails can I make with one jar?

Each jar makes 3 cocktails. That's 4oz of mix + 1.5 oz of your chosen spirit per drink. A smoky scotch is our favorite right now with the Blood of The Chupacabra.

15. Any allergens I should know about?

Our main allergen is tomatoes. Please refer to the item description for the full ingredient list. There's nothing funny about allergies so no occult puns here… Nope, not even one…
